Yeah I've been saying for the longest that Mizzou belongs in the Big Ten much more than the SEC. Mizzou already has an annual basketball game with Illinois, and used to have one in football that they're now talking about bringing back. That's a ready made easy rivalry to fully establish, instead of this makeshift shyt they're trying to do with Mizzou and Arkansas. Plus Missouri as a state is much more connected as a midwest state with states like Iowa, which would have been an easy rivalry as well. Big Ten went with Nebraska mainly for their football tradition, but Nebraska hasn't competed on a national level since getting raped on national television in 2001. Only people in Missouri that care about the southeast are those southern Missouri cacs near the borders of Arksansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee. People in St. Louis don't give a fukk about a damn Arkansas. But damn near a third of the metro area are Illinois fans. Mizzou should have waited their chance when the Big Ten wanted to expand again. Then again, they're making much more money in the SEC than they would have if they stayed in the Big 12. Money talks.
