Whole lot of UT football on the longhorn network today.

Herman looks to have done a hell of a job so far, and if he can get them competitive like he had Houston the past 2 years then :whoa: Big 12 need to look out

Yea. We just wrapped up our game. I'm excited. All bullshyt aside. I know we all hyperbole our teams.. but I really lik what I saw. Just like last year though, my major concern is at QB. I think Peters got next.. but I don't know if Jim has it in him to pull Speight.

More talent all over. More speed. The WHOLE team finally looks like a dominant division 1 team. It took this long to look this way from the Richrod/Hoke years.

People got on me last year for saying it, but Michigan was the only other team I saw as dominant as Bama was from start to finish when it came to finishing off an opponent.

No idea how the fukk that Iowa game turned out the way it did.

I honestly think we're still a year away. Either getting Peters a year starting under his belt.. or another year behind Speight :shaq2: .. and adding one more class of depth and growth, before we're upper echelon.

If you guys watched this game today, you'd wonder why the fukk the QB position is even a competition. It was clear as day who's got the goods. Passing, reading the D, scrambling.. all of that. Peters shyts all over Speight. It's frustrating as hell having to be in this limbo when it's clear as day.

The best college football coaching staff in Florida has just set up camp in Boca Raton, and that should concern University of Miami Hurricanes fans. Florida Atlantic University's new head coach, Lane Kiffin, has brought in top-tier assistants who put the Owls on the ESPN highlight reel. The Owls’ spring practice shows that the Lane Train is moving fast to make FAU a respectable program.
For one, Kiffin is already an offensive genius whose talents turned the University of Alabama Crimson Tide into a high-scoring machine that lost only two games and won a national championship during his tenure. So who does he hire to run the Owls offense? Another one of college football’s best offensive gurus: Kendal Briles.

Briles held the same job at Baylor University, where his offense racked up an average of 523 yards and 35 points per game last season. In 2015, Briles’ offense led the nation in total offense, with a 616-yards-per-game average. Kiffin also hired Miami Northwestern alum and former Howard University head coach Gary Harrell to coach the wide receivers. Watch FAU light up the scoreboard and run the up-tempo-style offense Canes fans have been craving for decades.
On defense, Kiffin didn’t have to look far to bring in stellar assistant coaches. He hired his brother Chris Kiffin as the defensive coordinator. From 2011 to 2016, Chris was the defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator for Ole Miss, where he landed players that became All-SEC stars, including Laremy Tunsil, the Miami Dolphins’ top pick in the NFL draft last year. Monte Kiffin, Lane’s father, also joined the Owls defensive staff. He led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense in the early 2000s that won Super Bowl XXXVII.

If you put Kiffin’s staff on the right team in the ACC or SEC, it would go to the national championship playoffs. These personnel moves show that football’s brightest minds want to hitch a ride on the Lane Train.

These guys joined Kiffin because they know FAU is the first stepping stone on his return to a big-league program. UM head coach Mark Richt better keep an eye on his rival 51 miles north of Coral Gables. If Richt doesn’t win an ACC title, don’t be surprised to see Kiffin replace him.

Starters played flag football, back ups played tackle. All qbs looked good besides 1 JT duck that got picked. Burrow and Haskins played really well in their battle for that back up spot
