He better watch that Michigan slick shyt tho. :birdman:

Bring it on you b*stard:pacspit:

Illinois is bad in football and basketball why did it get so bad when I was younger they were usually mid tier or even top tier in both what happened I don't keep up with Midwest that hardcore they don't even have NFL talent anymore?

It's all about the coach. Illinois, Maryland, and Texas. These 3 are huge recruiting hotbeds but kids leave the area for the bigger name and program. I know personally that Mac Irvin Fire AAU had issues with Illinois for years. Plenty of kids they were picky about too, that end up killing like a Ryan Boatright for UConn. Can't remember the number, but it was like every NCAA basketball champion had a kid who was from Illinois, going back from Kansas Sherrod Collins and Duke's Jon Scheyer. Texas had a horrible year with Shaka Smart, but he is still a good recruiter with Team USA youth ties, and football signed Herman. Maryland is Under Armour U, but that in itself is a huge miss. They should be dominating the DMV, but again, both programs need a higher profile coaching staff.

Add Florida, Cali, and Ohio to those 3. It's so much talent in these areas, that they don't have to leave their state at all. Louisiana and Carolinas too, for all sports. It's not even fair.

They produce enough talent in both sports, especially basketball, they just can't keep any of it. Even still, it's not like other west division schools have good local recruiting grounds. Even if they lose a few kids to the Michigans, Notre Dames, and OSUs of the world they should still be competitive against their divisional opponents.

Their new AD just hired Lovie Smith last off-season and Brad Underwood (basketball)) a few days ago. Maybe they'll right the ship?

Yu guys are tripping ripping on Jalen Hurts, he's a true freshman his passing will get better. His poise, athleicism, and body is already there.
It's not that easy lol if it was LSU would have a good QB..

He regressed throughout last season and has terrible mechanics and footwork which is hard to fix. He will never be a good passer, he just needs to not be awful I guess.

And Tua has all of those things+ he is a much better passer. I'm not saying we replace him with some scrub. Tua was the best QB in this recruiting class and has former NFL QBs, etc saying he is going to be special

Jalen's biggest asset is his ability to run. With the stable of RBs we have there is no reason to run our QB. No one ever said he was a good passer

And all of u were shytting on him saying how bad of a passer he was last year don't flip the script now :beli:

I feel sorry as shyt agreeing with you, because god only knows how terrible your bias is.. but I really think Tua is gonna be a fukking problem for the rest of the college football world, for the next three years. :francis:

Why not use the RBs and the QB in the running game? It was a deadly combination when we did it last season.

Yea and we saw what happened when teams loaded the box and stopped Jalen from running. And when Bo got hurt in the Clemson game. It got really ugly

Once again, Tua can run too he looks quicker to me on tape. And he can pass if they load the box. We will see what happens in game 1. FSU defense will be loading the box so Jalen is going to have to make plays with his arm.
