I feel good about it. Not "man we are gonna blow BAMA out" good obviously but pretty confident from a point that I believe in the Clemson coaches to have the team ready according to recent history. To be honest I feel like this is an evenly Matched game and it comes down to coaching. Tony Elliott/Jeff Scott vs Daboll and BV vs Pruitt/Saban
People forget that each of the past 2 meeting the better team DID NOT win the game. If Mac doesn't get hurt and Saban doesn't do that onside kick Clemson wins by 2 scores. Last year if Bo doesn't get hurt and y'all don't helicopter spin Watson...y'all win by 2 scores. This year it's like looking in the mirror at each other. Clemson basically ran a Bama offense most of the year and relied on our Defense to keep us in games til the offense gelled. Bama did what Bama does and hoped for Jalen's light to come on.
That brings me to my other thought...I think this game comes down to both #2's at QB. If Jalen can make the necessary throws then Clemson won't be able to stack the box to slow the Bama run game causing 3rd and longs. If we can have the Bama offense have a bunch of 3 and outs then that is to our advantage. On the flip side if Kelly B can make the necessary throws to keep Bama honest then it will open holes for Feaster and Etienne to have some success to extend drives and tire the Bama D out.
