We are losing Averett, Wallace, Minkah, Ronnie and Hootie so everyone will have a chance. Shyheim is legit he's just a little undersized but he'll be a perfect nickel especially going into his 3rd year. And probably stretching a bit on Saivion but he will have a chance since he has the talent. Trevon Diggs is meh he should get beat out by Smith or one of our other young guys

Word from recruits was that he wasn't vague and that he was explicit in Oregon talk when confronted with FSU rumors. That is their beef right now. Only issue is that if you're too vague and evasive, and you do take the new job, it blows up in your face.

He was one I figured might stay since he has Oregon family connections. Leavitt was lights out as a d coordinator last year, we need him. Just hope he isn't offended if he doesn't get the head coaching gig, since he does want to be a head coach again.

Current players even said he held a team meeting and told them not to worry, then later on held another team meeting where he cried and told them he was leaving. Players response was save your tears for people who aren't mad at you right now. Apparently players from Florida he brought over last year are pissed, and Lenoir has a deleted tweet where he said he basically was going to USC and it was Taggart who flipped him by selling a vision of him at Oregon. That is the dirty part of the game. Coaches can leave, but players once they commit get screwed.
Taggart better make the most of FSU, really it should be a slam dunk, but if he flames out it will hurt his career far more than had he stayed at Oregon.
