I’d say no whole heartedly, but the main decider seemed to be A&M hiring the former FSU AD. I think they’ll improve recruiting with Fisher initially, but that can only last as far as dude’s talent development. In that regard, Fisher has been damn near worse than Sumlin, at least offensively

Yeah it’s crazy how FSU has done nothing since that game except get blown out vs Oregon. That’s literally it. Auburn has been in contention every November since but injuries are what they are. I dont even think most fans even wanted Jimbo gone but the yearly flirting with teams gets tiresome for fans, players and administration. What I want to know is how is Jimbo even a good fit for TAMU? He's going to bring his boring antiquated pro style offense there, but dont most high schools in Texas run the spread? If he couldn't stand FSUs boosters how is he going to deal with the boosters at A&M?

Do A&M folks even realize that FSU is 10-10 in their last twenty ACC games? Jimbo's post Jameis record is terrible.

I want to say Jimbo will get his spark back at a new place but he has looked like a broke man these last few years..... them 9 and 10 win seasons in the ACC will probably turn into 7 or 8 win seasons in the SEC. If FSU was struggling to beat teams like Wake and NC State the last few years. Whats going to happen when has to play Auburn, LSU, etc. and I'm not even no SEC stan like that its just facts.

strange cult-like fanbase. they have great facilities now and a supportive alumni base but they will forever be losers. i don't think jimbo will do anything there. i think sumlin maxed out their recruiting prowess. they're always going to be hindered by the vibes of that campus and the overall shyttiness of college station.
