Idk if you remember, but UCLA ran LA throughout 90s under Donahue and Toledo rattling off 8 straight wins against SC. In 1998, we were one game away from going to the national title game until Edgerrin James came through crushing buildings.

SC had pulled away from UCLA when they hired Pete. Before him, there wasn’t that big of a gap between the two. Chip can help close that gap.

One is a Blueblood for football, the other is a blueblood for basketball. One have an impressive 17 Conference Championships , the other is 38. I won’t bring up National Championships either. Close the gap? Jada laugh.

I’ll admit one thing, recruiting will be a battle in LA going forward. Chip still have to show and prove though. I’m not worried about paper battles. I do like Chip more than Helton, I’ll give you that.

Who led the entire Pac-12 in recruiting in the past decade, regardless of the sanctions? The major talent was due to a “ex-USC staff member” with his 7 on 7 team. Kids on that team are linked to UCLA, the same way Compton Magic AAU is for ball. Dabo is the new coach for Auburn. In one year, he’ll run Bama right? Let me strengthen that point. Saban leaves and is replace by Jimbo, another elite coach. Dabo runs Bama? Scratch that, Saban is replaced by Sumlin, goes 10-3 his first year, 10-2 the next with 2 games left, but a coach that haven’t accomplished shyt like Chip would run Bama if he’s the new Auburn coach? Sure thing, Port Finebaum.

Dabo and Jimbo actually have chips on their resume, Chip does not. He’s not running shyt, especially after one year. That’s casual talk, port.

Bama was the better team, more balanced for sure. We actually outgained them but of course, the kicking game reared it's ugly head.

i rewatched the kick six game a week ago. all those missed field goals were crazy, and then they brought in the new guy for the last second one and it almost went in from 59
i wonder how fsu bama wouldve gone. fsu auburn ended up being a really dope game to watch

I wanted Mora fired for the past couple years, but this is false. The fact he’s had a bunch of NFL talent on his teams, a couple of pro bowlers, is what makes it frustrating he hasn’t won more.
