I dont even know what it means to be more talented but lose to a team 7 straight games

I mean shyt at some point you think talent would've won one at least one of em games :skip:
Well Saban being the GOAT and Les not knowing how to maximize his talent is how that happen. Yu think if both teams switched coaches the results would be the same?

First of all, Alabama is more talented than LSU on the collegiate level. I dont even know how that's even slightly debatable when their second team players shyt on teams yall starters cant handle. Just cause NFL staffs can make those LSU players elite doesnt mean you can throw out the sheer numbers of good players UA has on this level. Yall aint lining up them nikkas

second, I think if you give Les the talent advantage in every matchup, he coulda run his dumb ass play style. Now at some point, it would've caught up like it did for Saban. But in this situation, Saban woulda had to be the one to adjust his offensive motto and who knows. Saban being a decent coach and elite manager won them like the 2012 game if Im remembering correctly. Saban riding with that flaccid ass kicker lost em the initial game in 2011 tho. from 2013 on, Alabama has just been a severely better team than LSU tho. the two teams' seasons havent even been comparable and it typically shows in the one sided dominance. Maybe an elite coach could've beat Saban by now with that talent, but it aint like yall was looking for an elite coach after Les, you got that bumble fukking moron for at least a few more years.

I aint even trying to disrespect LSU rn, but it isnt like yall aint put yourselves in this predicament philosophy wise. You finally found an actually good dual threat prospect this past recruiting class, took way too long. your BOT approved another pro style coordinator in Cam Cameron instead of any other philosophy, set you back years as Alabama evolved to what we have now. You got Ed Orgeron. Stop recruiting fukking white QBs :gucci: Or at least recruit ones that on their tape look like they have stronger than JV backup QB arm strength

Didn't go away from it completely . Never had a QB RB combination that could do it like Tre Mason and Nick Marshall. Until now.... But Malzahn wants to be hard headed right now.
Yall had Nick Marshall and Cam Payne in 2014.....

Yall fell off because yall went away from what made that 2013 season successful

NFL coaches make LSU players elite? But how are players like Kwon Alexander, Tre White, and Deion Jones playing at a high level the minute they step on the field? Tre White was the Bills number one corner before his first preseason game. Yu think a NFL coach did that?

That 2nd part :mjlol: saban a decent coach? The guy is the king of getting the most out of the player's strength. Remember he made struggle cut look like a legend and before yu say it was his oline all those guy in the o-line amounted to nothing in the pros. Saban teaches his players discipline and he knows how to adjust. He knows the right type of players to recruit for his system. Les can recruit, les can coach, but his in game coaching was elementary compared to Saban.

Cam Payne wasn't as explosive as Tre. And like I was saying Gus got stubborn. Teams also started blitzing the read option. So he had to try and throw more. We actually are getting athletic qbs back into the offense. He should have never left that.

2014 - our defense was terrible. Lost games for us. Alabama scored 50 something and we scored 40 something on them.

Saban just hires elite coordinators that do their job well and knows the flow of the game. Saban could be vastly inferior to miles but the level his coordinators coach at would shade most of that. McElwain was a legit pro style mind and made CSU a power, we see Kirby, Pruitt, Kiffin, he simply keeps elite coordinators. He himself said he’d be an ass coach but recruit his ass off in his introductory meetings. I will say his most valuable trait other than coordinator vision is versatility. The fork in the road between LSU and Bama was that A. LSU’s coordinators were simply inferior B. that offense was proving itself ineffective and they had no idea how to adapt. Recruiting vision, coordinator vision, you name it. There’s no versatility for LSU’s program. Y’all are attempting to remedy the situation but nothing points out that Aranda is a fix at defensive coordinator. His 2 (?) seasons have been pretty ass so far, at least relative to prior LSU defenses. Until Gus literally said fukk it, I think we were on pace for 800+ yards after the first? Then you got Miss St, Troy, Cuse

I think LSU should’ve went for a bigger culture shift than Canada, but I understand he still runs a system that resembles what they’re used to while not being radically different. You can’t completely reset I suppose

I rarely feel bad for other teams but Tennessee fans don’t deserve this dog. Butch has been all but confirmed fired for months now. All these shows of supports just fukks with the fans and is gonna result in a complete lack of attendance next year. Plus they can get a head start on backup options in case GOD HIMSELF JOHN GRUDEN teases them like 1000 other CFB programs

Lol Saban made his assistants not the other way around. Pruitt was a high school coach before Saban brough him in to Bama. Kirby wasn't doing shyt before Saban hired him. And Saban/Bama's talent made Kiffin look like a genius for 3 years and still no one wants to touch him besides FAU.
