I would take A&M over Florida if I had the option simply because of how crazy the Florida administration and fanbase is.

All A&M wants is to win 10 games and be relevant. Florida will fire you in 3 years if you don't win a SEC or national championship.

I'd rather get my 5-6 years to fail at A&M than 3 years to fail at Florida.

Texas also has a lot of talent.

If I were a coach I would just be trying to maximize my bank account. A&M would pay me more to expect less. I would take that deal.

I'm assuming I'm a white coach in this scenario. As if Florida would ever hire a black man.

As a black coach I wouldn't be anywhere near the SEC. Too much racism.

I'd take a job like UCLA where they don't really care that much about college football cause there's other shyt going on in the city.

Same could be said about your squad. And that’s no slight cause LSU is a T10-15 gig but seems like coaches were only using y’all for a pay bump at their current/potential school. Admins can fukk this up in ways unimaginable

Any coach with options will have to weigh the fact that 2 SEC East titles in your first 3 years can get you fired.

Basically what Florida is saying is if you can't win a national title in 3 years you'll be fired.

Don't see many of the hot coaches jumping at a chance to coach for a administration that is that quick to fire a successful coach.

You are correct but the new AD had a free pass since he didn’t hire MacElwain. He can’t be so quick on the trigger with his own hire.
