Georgia has been killing scrub teams as well. They just have that huge win over Notre Dame who will be in the top 4 of the first poll. Alabama doesn't have that.

And I don't get why you tripping. Its not like who is #1 in the first poll matters. All that matters is getting into the playoffs and y'all still control your destiny on that front.

Plus if I were a Bama fan I wouldn't want to be #1. I'd rather let Georgia have that pressure and have us play the we're getting disrespected care.

It'll be money well spent compared to hiring just about anybody else that is available. I like Scott Frost but he's unproven. Chip Kelly lacks charisma to be a great recruiter.

Jon Gruden checks all the boxes. He's a big name coach with a Super Bowl Ring and charisma so you know our recruiting will be top notch. He also shows to be at least competent when it comes to game management which was Butch Jones major achilles heel.

I guess I'm just looking at it as who I think is the better team, not resume, which obviously the committee views as the most important .

Nobody is blowing out Alabama. But Ohio State? That's another story. They have a solid track record of getting blown out in big games against legit competition.

He would start recruiting at Saban's level just off hype alone. If the administration is willing to pay 10 mil/yr for the head coach they'll be willing to pay top dollar for elite assistant coaches.

With those 2 ingredients, there's no way he can fukk it up. At worst he'll be at Jim Harbaugh's level which would be an improvement for Tennessee.

Ohio State is not as talented as the recruiting rankings say. The Big 10 is mad overrated this year (just like it last year). And will get exposed once again in the playoffs.
