Kansas St returning damn near everyone and has as good a schedule as u can have. Snyder might pull another 2012 type run again this team has that kind of look the only real tough road games are Texas early and a late trip to Stillwater. OOC slate is easy toughest game is Vandy.
If OU doesn't blow that KSU game with multiple red zone turnovers, then 2012 KSU is an afterthought. They ended up getting blown out by Oregon, if my memory serves me correctly. Having said all that, I do agree that this season's KSU team can present problems for OU, however, if we take care of business, everything will be fine. OU won't blow KSU out like they did in 2014-15. Normally, OU/KSU games are close scoring because if one team has the better team, they do not run the score up on each other. Stoops won't do that to his mentor.
Oklahoma state has a great shot at making the playoffs with Rudolph and Washington coming back. Even if they lose to Oklahoma they will be favored in all of their other games
We shall see because history has indicated, minus a couple of years, that Mike Gundy loses games that he shouldn't, even more than the well-detested Bob Stoops. One change.... I don't think the Pokes will be favored at home vs KSU. It may change as the season plays out, but as of now, that game is a PUSH....
Regardless, all this talk about someone other than OU winning the Big XII this upcoming season is laughable. The only questions OU have are.... will OU show the maturity to play an entire season like they did for the last 11 games (included the Sugar Bowl).... and will OU's season be derailed by either injuries or suspensions, especially on defense which we can't really afford? Other than this, everything is set up to win the conference AND make a serious run at a championship.
The Big XII will have a championship game now.... Round robin will determine the 2 best teams to play each other in a title game.
