JT didn't really "flop" last year against Pedo. He threw for 245 with a TD and no INTs. McSorley actually went 8/23 for 154, so he had a much worse game. Game was lost on a blocked FG returned for TD.

PAC 12 might be better than it was back then, but he already proved he can dominate there with little talent. Kiffin proved u can’t win at Tenn with a good scheme without talent (I believe he’s a good schemer anyway)
