I doubt it. First game of the season. Yet another new OC for Jalen Hurts. They putting too much on this kid. It will show that game.
What are u trying to say u dont think he can learn a new playbook in 7 months? He came in and picked everything up pretty fast in 7 months last year wouldnt u say:russ:

But nah I think we will run a lot of the same stuff mixed in with some traditional power runs and play action passes off that. This is the best OL we have had since 2012 and best RB group ever, Saban wants to use that. No excuses for our offense not to look impressive tbh, even with how much talent FSU has. We are just simply too stacked

I'm from Miami. You dumb fukk. Live in AZ now. You are delusional. Everybody done told you how stupid you look talking about Michigan. Yet you still keep talking. You must be slow.

Nobody that matters has told me shyt. And YOU fukkboi, don't matter. I spit facts about Michigan. Not like your dumb ass.

'Man, FSU would whoop that ass!'
'Man, frenchie could win the heisman next year'
'Man, we've got the best coach in the country'

You're a joke. Your teams a joke. The best thing about Florida State are the fine ass hoes that go there. Other than that, you'd be TCC status. fukk outta here.

Damn they got out duffle bagged by Oregon. :brutuswow:

Naaa, he was gonna be our 10th assistant (since there were rumors that the NCAA was gonna approve a 10th for every team.. but now that decision is getting pushed back to late April, so Harbaugh stashed Johnson in Eugene until next year. He'll be in Ann Arbor at this time next year. You'll see. :win:

Oregon offered him an actual coaching position, receivers coach. At Michigan he was going to be an analyst. Not knowing anything about him or the situation other than getting involved now, seems like Harbough offered him that entry level position and Oregon gave him that promotion. Long term we will see, I think what Taggart is doing with his coaching staff is great from a recruiting standpoint, but we will likely have to get used to coaches leaving and a level of turnover we aren't used to at Oregon.

What I can see is definitely a level of collusion between Willie and Harbough on coaching decisions...

Interesting, Oregon now has two coaches on staff with top 2019 QB prospects. Coach Taggart doesn't fukk around. Bringing that SEC mentality to the Ducks. :myman:

im happy for yall, Helfrich was too soft to run a big time program. Taggart shining already.:salute:

But I wonder about him re-desinging the quack attack to be a more classic spread attack. Oregon was synonymous with that offense and yall were must-watch TV from 2009-2015....

I think he is going to keep it uptempo and spread aspects...at least that is what he has said, but he is going to incorporate more point of attack stuff in the sense he wants OL that can physically win battles, rather than relying strictly on zone blocking. The zone blocking worked great against 95% of opponents, but when we faced teams that physically dominated us (LSU, OSU, etc) the zone blocking was neutralized and ineffective.

It definitely will change and be a viewing adjustment, but it seems like it will still focus on explosive plays and spread as Willie's last year at USF his offense statistically ranked near the top in those categories.

Reality is I think it was time for a change in the offense, not just because Helfrich had allowed for the players to become soft, but because the offense came at a time when no one knew how to defend against it and now many years later teams have adjusted and it isn't keeping as many opponents off balance.

The key is despite Chip being an anti-swagger coach with his personality he somehow created a massive swagger around the program and nationally. That disappeared with Helfrich. Willie looks like the guy who can bring that back and IMO do it more organically, whereas Chip's was likely a direct cause from having on field success. Oregon doesn't have a great in state recruiting base or at the most desirable geographic location for players to go to...building that swagger with uniforms, media, Nike, and players growing up being fans is what Oregon needs to sustain itself. I think Taggart is on the right track.
