yall are corny with the gabby hate...this is individual glory here, it's hard to deal with not even having a chance to defend your gold. she would've lost to simone, but she would've gotten the silver or bronze at worst. plus she's in a sport with a short shelf life - this is her last olympics. i'm pretty sure a lot is weighing on her mind...including possible retirement.

It's obvious a lot of brehs in here never competed individually before. If she belonged to any other country in the world she'd be able to atleast try to defend her title & still medal at worst. To lose is one thing, but to not even get the CHANCE? Any true competitor in her shoes would be dying inside... sitting there watching your title slip away and not be able even put up a fight. Its not about jealousy, its about competitive spirit.
