I caught the way NBC operates like 8 years ago. They fill the first week with swimming and gymnastic drama, then finish off the second week with track and field drama.

Seems like the formula they've used for primetime for years.

yeah swimming, gymnastics and track & field are the main attractions because women are interested in those events too. Basketball and soccer are big but basketball won't be as big if U.S. doesn't have any competition. Those U.S. and Spain games used to be lit
