I think the collapse didn't get as much attention because they weren't even supposed to win 10 games. But like you said, lose to FSU at home in that fashion, to once again lose to Alabama (UF is 2-6 against Bama since '05), and losing to Michigan 41-7 basically at home is just a disastrous ending
Not to mention, Coach Mac lost two starting QBs so he's essentially starting over again

Treon wasn't good, at all, but the man played in 2 of the shyttiest situations I've seen for a QB. 2 years ago, I dont even need to remind you of the Muschamp offense. Last year, it looks like they had an offense set specifically for Grier and they never changed it at any point to accomodate the one thing Treon could do. Although they were stuck, cause the one thing Treon can do, run, requires an offensive line that isn't total garbageGator fans probably felt same way watching him attempt to play QB
Basically, all Im saying is that there's offenses, several, that's had a guy of Treon's caliber and succeeded. He went to one that couldn't handle him and he couldn't adjust

If Florida kept Will and didn't have an atrocious OL, I would've left them as an elite team

2012: Beat UL-Lafayette by 7 on a late blocked punt
2013: L to UGA, Vandy, SCar, upset by GA Southern, destroyed by FSU
2014: L to SCar while being in a favorable position to win the east, L to FSU
2015: Beat Vandy who had a trash offense 9-7, taken to OT by FAU, L to FSU
