I would like to know the recruiting pitch that Clem is using to pull the kids away from Tenn like they do. I saw video of when Feaster went to Tenn last year and they had a red carpet event type party for the recruits. It was very nice. Had some good looking black chicks on the red carpet hosting and interviewing players. Interesting thing is his dad said as soon as they left the Clemson recruiters were blowing up the phone. Like they had someone watching to tell them when they pulled out the parking lot.

@Woodwerkz you think Hunter is going to fit the current offensive system or they will change the offense in the coming years? He is nothing like Watson. It seems like Dabo doesn't think Elliot will be there much longer and he also hire Kyle Richardson who ran a lot of run and shoot stuff. as a high school head coach. I think it will be interesting to see Johnson running that fast RPO stuff that Clem runs.

It'll be the same system tailored to the offense strength but Dabo wants a balanced attack so you probably wouldn't notice much change in the way the offense is run. One thing that Dabo has done is to think forward to the future with our OC's. He knew Chad was going to leave in 3 to 5 years so he had Scott and Elliott learning under him. The same thing will happen this go around and Dabo said this is a "Clemson" offense and not so much dependent on an OC. Remember Tajh Boyd didn't fit the system either but he was productive still and I doubt Hunter starts off the bat. We have Kelly Bryant who is a threat to take it to the house each time he touches it at QB...his problem is....decision making. He isn't reading the Defense quick enough on pass plays yet...which is why his 3 string. Zerrick Cooper has the potential to be Watson like so I wouldn't say Hunter will have the offense handed to him just like that. I envision Hunter being more of a crafty running who doesn't break big runs but can pick up some key yards. Last year was Tony's first year as OC calling plays so I don't think many teams will come knocking for him for at least another 3 years after they have seem him have more than 50 games under his belt.

You have to remember most Clemson fans begged Chad Morris to call more run plays and he'd call a few...see a few passes working and we'd throw the damn ball 3 straight plays and the D was back on the field. Elliott and Scott basically said "we know we can throw the ball but lets get this run game going". While Elliott was a WR for us during his playing career he was actually the RB coach prior to last year so he made it a point to see that the RB's got feed. The crazy thing is our RB's will get better after this season. We lose Gallman but Choice will be back and Feaster will have year under his belt. We also have a freshman from TENN in Richardson committed to us right now who is a 4* 220 lbs hard runner that should be a good one also [we beat FSU out for him but they are still recruiting him hard].

That's a lot of good points. A lot of people don't see it because of all of the big plays from passing, but the type of offense that Clemson runs is built more for running the ball and Chad Morris play calling was predictable at times. He passed the ball at times when he should have been running Ellington. I don't see Kelly Bryant ever starting I think he gets moved to safety or he becomes the next Willie Simmons lol. I don't think you guys will see much running from Hunter at all.
