Dam, they all in Tenn getting they players. Thats good I hope it frees up Ortre Smith to come to South Carolina.

Higgins is really the only one we wanted.

Rogers is Tee Martin's kid. And there is bad blood right now between Tee Martin and the school he led to a national title. The fact Rogers aint at USC is more damning.

Richardson isn't as highly rated by the Tennessee staff as the recruiting services. He said himself that Tennessee stopped recruiting him months before he committed to Clemson.

Right now Tee Higgins is their only major coup.

Tee is the only one we wanted.

We stopped recruiting Richardson months ago. Others RBs were ahead of him including another 4* Tennessee RB Ty Chandler.

Amari Rogers is Tee Martin's kid. And as shocking as it is to believe we never had a shot with him. Apparently there is bad blood between Tee Martin and UT right now.

If y'all keep Tee Higgins, then that will be the huge win cause he's been our #1 target for a few years now.

Myles Garrett is the best Defensive player in the nation
on a defense that constantly gets thrashed...nah :camby:
Nah Derwin literally does everything out there

Coverage, play the run, and pass rush as a safety. Led the squad in tackles and he ain't even start all year

and Vic had him in the weight room getting more sculpted....i thought my boy was wildin when he said that DJ got a chance to go top 3 when it's all said and done but he might be on to something

Well this kid is special.

I typically don't care about stars and recruiting rankings. Most times they are wrong. 5 stars constantly flop. And the biggest NFL stars were 3 star nobodies at this point in their lives.

Tee Higgins is different though. They actually got this right. This kid is AJ Green 2.0. He's destined for superstardom both in college and the NFL.

Losing him is a BIG DEAL. Butch better win the natty or else that seat will become mighty warm. Its unacceptable to let transcendent stars leave your own backyard.

Probably because he's from South Carolina....

Would be a damn fool if he chose SCAR over Clemson

So kids only attend schools in the the state they're from?

Because he'd been committed to Southern California for so long, Jeffery said he did inform Carroll that he planned to sign with South Carolina. The Trojans had tried to put the squeeze on Jeffery earlier in the recruiting process and told him that they were going to pull his offer unless he agreed not to take visits anywhere else.

Alshon Jeffery turned out alright with the Gamecocks.

They recruit a lot of the same kids and Clem is kicking Butch Jones/Tenn ass at getting them.
As they should. Clemson almost won a chip last year, Tenn cant win the weak ass sec east, and havent beat their rival in 13 years. :francis:

Weak east :mjcry: I can't lie Tenn beat us a few years back cause alzheimer hit Spurrier on the sideline. If we beat Tenn that year ITS NO DOUBT IN MY MIND WE CLOUD HAVE BEAT AU and played FSU for the SHIP. We finished 4th in the country and it's been far far far down hill every since. I think we got a musChamp that's saw hard times and is ready to rise from the ashes and prove he is a good head coach.

I would like to know the recruiting pitch that Clem is using to pull the kids away from Tenn like they do. I saw video of when Feaster went to Tenn last year and they had a red carpet event type party for the recruits. It was very nice. Had some good looking black chicks on the red carpet hosting and interviewing players. Interesting thing is his dad said as soon as they left the Clemson recruiters were blowing up the phone. Like they had someone watching to tell them when they pulled out the parking lot.

@Woodwerkz you think Hunter is going to fit the current offensive system or they will change the offense in the coming years? He is nothing like Watson. It seems like Dabo doesn't think Elliot will be there much longer and he also hire Kyle Richardson who ran a lot of run and shoot stuff. as a high school head coach. I think it will be interesting to see Johnson running that fast RPO stuff that Clem runs.

Georgia tailback Sony Michel breaks forearm
112915_techuga_photos_CC6.JPG

ATHENS — Some of the worst news Georgia could have received with regard to its tailback situation is true. Sony Michel did indeed suffer a non-football injury and his early-season availability is in question.

UGA officials finally confirmed at about 7:30 p.m. Monday evening that Michel had suffered a broken left forearm in “an accident” that happened on Sunday evening. UGA officials would not confirm that nature of the accident, but persons with knowledge of the situation confirmed that it was while riding an all-terrain vehicle (ATV).

The 5-foot-11, 212-pound junior underwent surgery on Monday at Athens Regional Medical Center and a full recovery is expected. The team did not say how long his recovery would take. Georgia is about eight weeks away from its season-opening game against North Carolina in the Georgia Dome and four weeks from the start of preseason camp.

Michel, who will be a junior this fall, rushed for a team-high 1,161 yards and eight touchdowns last year. More than 100 yards per game of that production came after previous starter Nick Chubb was lost for the season to a knee injury in the sixth game of the season. Chubb still has not been cleared to play after having surgery to repair several ligaments.

If neither Chubb nor Michel is available, senior Brendan Douglas would assume the No. 1 spot based on the depth charts going into preseason camp. Douglas has never started but has played in 36 games and has 715 yards in his career.

After him, the Bulldogs would have to turn to redshirt freshman Tae Crowder and true freshmen Elijah Holyfield and Brian Herrien.

Watching South Carolina in 60 on SEC network right now.

We actually got better after Spurier left on offense. I don't think his heart was in the game at all. He was counting on a sorry ass QB and his route trees to keep him in at and it just wasn't happening. He had a terrible QB and an awful DC that wasn't going to help his offense. It was well known that he didn't want to return last season, but he did. The Gamecocks offense will miss Cooper, Wilds, and Adams but if we can get a GOOD QB (not name Orth) in there and we can keep Debo healthy we'll be okay. I also think the running backs will be good. I'm hearing that our offense will be more running than passing. The defense should be solid under Muschamp and T-Rob, we actually have some good players with experience that were highly recruited out of high school and JUCO.

McLiwain and Debo are gonna be a great connection honestly. And with Muschamp and T Rob I'm not too worried about our defense other than missing Skai...

Whats the percentage of players on the SCAR roster not from South Carolina or Georgia?
