Henry has long range speed. His initial burst is weak though. He's like a runaway locomotive. Give him a runway and he's gone. However, that runway needs to be huge cause dude struggles with cutting cause he has no agility.

Just watch how bad he struggles in the pros when the holes aint the size of canyons.

He's Trent Richardson 2.0.

I think you know a lil about Bama RBs struggling in the NFL.

Saw every snap of both guys careers and Henry is nothing like Richardson.

Roc is probably just as good a RB, its just dude has already been proven to be injury prone and probably spins a little much than necessary. But dude definitely has the ability to be an elite RB.

He spins way too much from past games.....hopefully they have fixed his running style this year. He could get 2 to 3 more yards by just stretching out with the football instead of spinning. Eventually, some linebacker or d-lineman will catch him mid spin and it will be lights out. Everybody has some speed on the college level and especially on the next level. You can't spin out of everything.

I agree he aint nothing like Richardson. Richardson was the much better prospect. He had great initial burst, quickness, long range speed, and power.

The only reason we never saw the colossal bust he would be was because at Alabama he really didn't need vision to succeed. Bama's o-line was blowing up holes all over the place so no matter where he went he was getting yards.

In the NFL, where only one hole opens up for a second, Richardson's lack of vision was exposed.

Henry's problem isn't lack of vision. He just can't make the sort of cuts you need to make as a RB to succeed. He can't create runs on his own. He's a totally dependent runner that relies on the o-line to create everything.

He would do fine on a team like Dallas that has an elite o-line. But anywhere else, he'll be a BUST. Especially Tennessee.

So the rookie of the year playing 12-13 games was a disappointment.

You gotta be put on ignore now.

If you watched him in college, that wasn't the same guy.

It kinda shows how great Gurley is. Even as a shell of himself he's still top 3 RB in this weak era.

I think when the guys from the 2016 and 2017 draft get into the league, he'll get passed up. Starting with Zeke Elliott.

1990 was a fluke season best team was Miami but they lost to BYU week 1 on road. Colorado got bogus win at Missouri GT should've been champ outright but I think Miami P4P was the best CFB was fukked up back then the way they handed out bowl berths :russ: at the national champion playing in the Citrus Bowl

I don't know if this is a complement or shade :skip:

We shoulda def been outright champs though!!!! Didn't lose a game! That Tech-UVA game was so lit watching it on TV.

Yep, it is what it is, no one told him this shyt in city league and he's been doing it ever since :manny:

Dude still does have top end speed and pretty good physicality though. Also an excellent receiver out the backfield. Essentially every skill you need from a RB, dude just needs to stay on the field. I don't really think he's been hurt all this time, Gus really just puts dudes in the dog house for long periods of time for no fukkin reason.

If Roc doesn't ball this year (probably at Slot receiver), I wish he transferred. Dude is too good to not be a baller.

Here is what the coaches, who will remain anonymous, had to say about the two teams. It is certainly a very small sample size when you consider how many coaches are in the 14-team league, but it was still surprising to see coaches routinely favor Clemson, a school Jimbo Fisher is 4-2 against.

ACC head coach: “[Clemson is] the most talented team in the ACC regardless of divisions. ... When you talk about defending their offense, you can’t make mistakes. Your guys have got to be in the right place because you’re not going to be as talented as them. ... I don’t think anybody in the ACC is [as talented], even Florida State.”

ACC assistant coach: “I’d give the nod to Clemson. Florida State has all of those thoroughbreds and horses but doesn’t seem like they use those guys as much as they could be.”

ACC assistant coach: “[Florida State is] so big up front and can mash you, but I wonder if they will cut it loose. How good could they be? That style of offense allows you to stay in the game if you can bring down the run game.”

ACC head coach: “Last year, Florida State when they had [Dalvin] Cook was really scary. When they didn’t have him, they seemed to come down to the pack a little bit. Florida State got so much better on defense last year, too. Their defensive coordinator did an awesome job last year of really getting their kids to play better team defense than the year before.”

ACC head coach: “I think what’s scary about Clemson is they had the year they had and they did it with a brand-new offensive line. They probably created as much yards as anybody I’ve ever seen with really a patchwork offensive line that progressively got better. They spread you out so much and they’re so good at the skill positions that as their offensive line continues to grow and get better, they have a chance to continue to get better on offense. Their defensive coordinator last year did an exceptional job. For everything they lost the year before, you expected some type of drop off and they really didn’t have one. Right now with the season they had, they’re even recruiting in a different area than they have before. If the QB stays healthy, they’ve got to be the preseason favorite.”

ACC assistant coach: “The biggest difference between FSU and everyone else is pure talent. Look at the recruiting rankings and they’re always No. 1 or No. 2 in the conference [FSU has been No. 1 in the ACC every year since Jimbo Fisher became coach in 2010]. Speed, size, ability -- those are things you can’t account for in schemes. That’s what sets FSU apart. The only team that has closed the gap is Clemson.”

ACC assistant coach: “Nobody in the conference is as talented as Deshaun Watson. I think the offensive line at FSU is probably a little more talented but overall talent on offense I’d say the scale tips to Clemson. Their tremendous receiver core presents all kinds of issues. With the way game is now, [defenses] trying to play man to man, it comes down to an ability to win one-on-one matchups and they have several who could do that. Watson is a premium talent but Dalvin Cook is a premium talent, too. I think Clemson has more weapons. The scale tips more toward Clemson now.”

Clemson has not won at Florida State since 2006, but a handful of ACC coaches expect that to change in 2016.
