@Brady-Carter, thought I would tell you the latest rumors regarding Oregon's coaching staff:

Not a rumor, Taggart hired Michigan's Jimmie Dougherty. He was an offensive assistant and was hired to be the WR coach. Don't know anything about him, but I am assuming being part of Harbaugh's staff and Willie had his blessing, so it probably is a solid hire of talent.

The rumors:

- Colorado's Charles Clark for DB coach. I like bringing in young talent to grow. Oregon had gotten a bit stale. He apparently is a fast rising DB talent coach who specializes in teaching press coverage. Also considered a good recruiter.

- Washington State's Joe Salave'a for D-Line coach. He is one of the better D-Line coaches in the country and would really help the Hawaiian/Polynesian recruiting relationship which Oregon has always relied upon, but gotten away from the last few years. He was offered to coach at USC under Sark, but turned it down due to loyalty to WSU and his players. That is what gives me pause if it will happen, where's Clark is a natural fit to leave and follow his D Coordinator to Oregon. This would be a huge get. I never was a fan of Aiken and play really went down when Azzinaro left. Salave'a could be an upgrade of Azzinaro even, because he teaches toughness and will probably go after more size than the Ducks went after under Chip and Helfrich who I always felt recruited undersized linemen (or lineman who were really tall and didn't fill out with enough weight).
