Don't know why y'all get so worked up over recruiting.

We all (expect Florida) gone eat regardless.

No. Name the top 10 HC's in CFB in 2006 and im sure they would have had Bama back at the top in a few seasons.
Pete Carroll
Urban Meyer
Jim Tressel
Rich Rod
Stoops
Mack Brown
Richt
Les Miles

How could you make that assumption when most of the same guys were at better jobs and flamed out?

Rich Rod went to Michigan and couldn't do shyt, what makes you believe he would have at Alabama?

There are few guaranteed coaches who will get/keep you on top:

Carroll
Saban
Meyer
Harbaugh

All those coaches you listed would have had Bama back up at the top. Im not saying they would have mirrored or exceeded what Saban has done but to suggest that only Saban or Urban could have Bama back at the top is ridiculous. Hell Shula dumb ass had led Bama to a 10 win season in 2005.

And Rich Rod would have brought the spread to Bama, gotten the athletes to run it that he couldn't have when he went to UM to run it, and the spread was already introduced to the SEC by UF and Urban so it's not like it was a foreign concept

Damn. Can't even get a look :dahell:
At one point, De’Andre Johnson looked like he would be the next big-time quarterback to come through Florida State.

That all changed rather abruptly when a security camera video surfaced in July 2015 of the freshman QB punching a woman at a bar.

The quarterback was arrested on a misdemeanor battery charge and later dismissed from FSU. Johnson transferred to East Mississippi and after sitting out all of 2015 he took the field for the first time this season, ultimately leading the Lions to Sunday’s Mississippi Bowl.

He earned the Mississippi Bowl Player of the Year honor after throwing for 2,646 yards and 26 touchdowns and rushing for another 834 yards and five touchdowns.

“(This season) meant a lot,” Johnson said after Sunday’s 27-17 win over Kilgore College. “I overcame a lot. Kind of want to shed a tear now after bring victorious. It’s my last week in Mississippi.”

As for Johnson’s future, it’s pretty unclear what’s next.

“After finals I'm going back to Florida to see what happens,” Johnson said. “Taking a week off, going on a cruise, and then get back to training.”

Johnson’s production and ability were evident this weekend, but the offers have not yet materialized.

According to 247Sports, Johnson’s lone offer is from Texas State, a far cry from his list when he signed with the Seminoles in 2015 over offers from Auburn, Clemson, Texas and others.

Johnson said he has heard from other schools but he’s “trying to find the perfect situation as possible to be successful.”

“I’m just kind of weighing my options,” he said. “Not really revealing everything right now. Just going to weigh it all out.”

So what’s Johnson’s message to recruiters looking for a quarterback?

“Whoever wants to come in, come all in,” he said. “It doesn't matter where you're from or what conference you're in, just come on in.”

Thats 1 season, and then what happened when shyt got real? They got stomped out by LSU & Auburn because they were frauds.

So you're telling me that he could get the talent needed for his system at Alabama & WVU but not at Michigan? Why?:comeon:

Don't kno why we haven't offered him. Maybe because we have two stud recruits but that didn't stop us from offering Tua

I mean that was a few players removed from an Auburn squad that could've/should've made a NC and a team that was an OT loss to LSU from probably making the SEC CG and potentially the NC (they beat UGA earlier that year, who stomped out LSU in the conf champ)

Basically Im meaning to say those were pretty good ass squads they lost to.

I dont know how any solid-good (not even great or elite) coach couldn't succeed at UA. They got the facilities, money, boosters, lack of giving a fukk about the NCAA, and the SEC all behind them and the span you guys are referring to was at a time where their only even close competition in those categories (UT) was beginning their descent. I mean LSU and Florida were a problem but those simply arent programs that historically would worry Alabama if Alabama were to have made anything close to a right head coaching choice

our fans are the greatest. Someone just made this.

Say it ain't so Joe, come back for one mo..:noah:

its gonna be quite interesting to see what OU offense comes out against us. Im hoping for the one that basically got their ass busted up front by Houston. Realistically, I know there has been spades of improvement since that first game, but I can hope.

Any program can fall in the matter of 4 years
And any program can rise in the same amount of time.
Look at Baylor most recent example. If the new coach isn't the right hire they're back to being Baylor
