Going by the Alabama blue print y'all would get a NFL coach who recently coached in College...and that would be Chip Kelly. But that's a longshot
No I don't want chip kelly
I don't go that deep into coaching to know coaches philosophies but I'm good off chip

Look what he did to the guys in philly. Miami is hood bruh. we need someone who not only understands the culture, but can let the guys be them.
Chip brought a lot of hood dudes from Cali up to Oregon. Dude was all up in crip and blood territory giving out schollys. He's a brilliant football mind. Quirky, but brilliant. No way he leaves the pros to coach Miami, though.

The first and third speak for themselves. The second is something I should’ve noticed sooner. When Golden was cobbling his initial class together, he wanted to drop Denzel Perryman. He thought he was too small. Barrow had to convince him otherwise. Golden famously said, “The days of the 205-pound linebacker at Miami are over.” Five years later, his best linebacker weighs 205 pounds.

Golden never understood the Miami player, physically or mentally. The list of ballers that we turned away is too long to list. You know the names. The most telling thing to me is the futility of the return units. They are horrible, even though half of the returners in the NFL come from South Florida. Golden never saw these athletes in Boston College and Virginia.
I remember when Golden said that shyt about no more 205 LB's.:snoop:

I was like:patrice::what::mindblown:.

I his Golden defense skim was one of the things I fear most about him coming to Miami and it was much worse than I thought.

He bring a Penn State slow ass 3-4 defense to Miami and not knowing how south Florida defense works.

I'm so glad that his gone and I hope the new coach brings back Miami 4-3 speed defense again.

The information I post here may or may not have already been posted on the boards or on my Twitter, but this is what I can confirm we know right now.

**Butch is still very unlikely. He is obviously interested, but the response has been an aggressive no when his name comes up. The residue from the UNC mess hurts him here. Crazy things happen in coaching searches, but I would be very surprised.

**Rob Chudzinski remains a name in the mix. After the Cincinnati loss, Chud's name began circulating once again. He is a realistic hire, but this is not the buzz hire Miami needs.

**Opinion on Mario Cristobal is mixed. Some believe that he has learned under Saban, but others seem cautious because of his reputation of being hard to get along with.

**SEC Coaches are expressing interest in this job. Mark Stoops and Kirby Smart are two notables that we are hearing have quietly thrown their names into the hat. Other SEC assistants will emerge as well.

**Marshall's Doc Holliday is a longshot, but word is he would be interested. His buyout is not considered a major issue and he is a tremendous recruiter. Think Canes want younger though.

i'm hearing that we are willing to pay up to 4 million for the coach...if so, that would put us in the top 20 for sure :leon:

won't believe it until i see it, but maybe these dumbfukks are actually willing to open up their wallets to football for once
