i'm almost as tired of that conversation as I am of the losses :mjcry: All the coaches we should've taken these last few years (Mullen, Petrino, Patterson, etc). Not sure who's even available right now and I can't think of someone who would even energize a recruiting base.

I'm listening to 790 The Fan and they are mentioning how Miami has to find the $$'s and get more modern in their approach overall. Brand name doesnt mean much as it use to with these kids since Social Media has taken off. Easier said that done though, but not holding on to that elite in state talent is KILLING Miami.

One thing in watching Miami under Golden is that the talent IS there, but that killer instict is missing. When Miami went up 20-17 and then forced em to punt into the next game, I thought yall would clamp down and run away with it. That drive Cincy had before the half where they went RIGHT down the field and got 3 was inexcusable

I think being in Miami still means something to 18 to 21 year olds but the problem with Golden is he is a very good recruiter, solid at developing talent but is TERRIBLE at X and O and getting players to play to their potential. Terrible.

Butch wasn't a good coach either, considering his bag man is banned from CF, he's not a smart hire at all. Butch is a more hard working Mack Brown without the skills to find a lot of bag man's like Mack.
