Billups only played 20 games with Amare that year. He was old and ineffective. They traded him to the Clippers. Raymond Felton started 59 games that year playing with Amare. Are you trying to say Felton was the reason why Amare avg 26ppg?

They didn't trade Chauncey. They used their amnesty on him, even though he only had 1 year left on his deal. They did that so they could sign Tyson Chandler, instead of waiting it out, trying to sign Chris Paul the next offseason, and saving their amnesty for Amare when he fell apart.

ok that's all fine but that goes back to my original point that he declined when he left PHX for the Knicks. i agree that he and DeAndre aren't on the same offensive tier but i see the same decline for DeAndre if he goes to the Mavs.

he's a proven scorer at SG regardless of his height. and he's like 6'3. it's not like he's a midget.

He doesn't provide great spacing, he's ball dominant and can't guard SG's

I'm sure the blazers are dying to get Tiago splitter and patty mills. I think they could still offer him max if Duncan and manu sign for real cheap. Not sure tho. They might have to dump patty and others.

nah.. spurs might pay caps for the first time in a while.. but i am sure they are still trying to move splitter.. but now.. they really have to give up on diaw or mills too
