Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
why isn't tristan thompson signed yet? whats really goin on there?

There's no real need to rush.

The only other team that could pay him what he wants with cap space is Portland. And Portland doesn't have an incentive to help him.

It's either they come to terms or he has to accept the qualifying offer and hit the market unrestricted next year.

Which is something neither side wants.

Yo why do restricted fa almost always sign back with their original team?
I never understood it.

Because they really don't have a choice, aside from taking a big risk with the qualifying offer. Even if they do sign elsewhere the team can match so it really comes down to how much their team wants to keep them. If you are good that team is usually gonna want to keep you.

According to Eric Pincus of Basketball Insiders, Danny Green's contract with the Spurs is a four-year, $40 million deal with the fourth year being a player option.

The Spurs have done it yet again. This is a massive bargain for San Antonio considering Wesley Matthews got a four-year, $70 million deal with the Mavericks, so it's clear that Green took a discount. He averaged 11.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.2 steals, 2.4 3-pointers, 1.1 blocks and just 1.1 turnovers per game last season, and he will look to build on those numbers with Marco Belinelli out of town and Manu Ginobili another year older.

Pistons make sense cause they'd basically be trying to upgrade Jennings into Lawson and if he doesn't work, they still have Jackson anyways

Lakers make no sense unless they are already abandoning ship on Russell

Rockets make sense too

Kings do not

Yea, I don't think there's anything to that lakers rumor, just agents trying to stir the pot. Rockets are my guess where he lands.

How come the Lakers can't just aquire Lawson and play Russell at SG and have Clarkson/Lou Will play PG/SG with Kobe getting the bulk of his minutes at SF?

I think the Rockets makes the most sense for Lawson however.
