Jackson has more potential but IT is a more proven commodity right now.
Jackson was regularly putting up 20/10 with victories behind them once Stan got ahold of him. They'll have better floor spacing this year too. IT is never doing that on a regular basis.

Yet he could score 20+ with 7/8 assists on starters minutes probably.

Thomas can't even remotely defend the PG position, he's a very good sixth man IMO.

Hes a poor defender, clearly. He is decent reading passing lanes and with steals. Still a liability. He's the best 6th man in the league but he'd also be a good starter. He can drop buckets almost at will. Jackson has more potential on the strength of his defensive capabilities/size etc. Still remains to be seen about his efficiency/shooting as a scorer and ceiling as a distributor. At the very least, Thomas > at their current salaries in terms of value...if they had the same contract, itd probably defend on team needs. Celtics dont need perimeter help on defense with Smart/Bradley/Crowder..he hurts them when he lets guys go by him but hes more important to a team like the Celts who are desperate for scoring than Jackson would be.

another lackluster, uninspiring offseason again for the grizzlies.

chris wallace is the laziest GM in basketball. scared to make a bold move. he's more concerned about padding his resume with playoff appearances and making the 2011 grizzlies fans happy.

matt barnes as the major wing acquisition:scust:

we're running the same lineup we ran back in 2010, thinking shyt is gonna change. pathetic

the fans will complain about needing more shooting, then turn around and say tony allen needs to play 25 MPG. sometimes I hate this team.

He did that on the Kings and the team was terrible. Reggie Jackson > IT no matter how you spin it and I'm an IT fan.

Thomas proved himself to be able to put up those numbers on better teams (PHX/Boston) too though. He has improved. We'll see what happens this season with both guys firmly entrenched in new situations. I just want to see Jackson play more in a bigger role first before I really rank him.

I'd take off the Kings and add the Blazers.

I like what the Kings have done (outside of those 2 trades they made because them shyts were terrible) mainly because there was a chance they really screwed up & traded Boogie but they didn't. Plus the people they did sign are alright, especially if Rondo goes all out for his next deal.

Rondo isn't going to learn to shoot this summer.
