He's still going to be a top 3 PF in the league for years, that midrange J will age well and he competes hard on D.

Randle needs playing time to develop and I don't want Aldridge taking time away from him. I think Aldridge is actually underrated defensively, but if he's not playing center, I don't think he fits in with what LA is doing.

The Lakers already have four offensive minded guys in the starting lineup (assuming Kobe slides over to SF) with Clarkson, Kobe, Russell and Randle.

Why would he leave $12 mil on a team that will be in the playoffs to make less on a worse team
