Why are the Knicks getting more than the Lakers?
Do players believe in the Triangle?
Is it Kobe?
I don't believe the Lakers are dumb enough to only target top and 2nd tier free agents ONLY.
the FO is fukking terrible

Have you seen this quote?October 2012...
OKC wanted to give Harden a 4 year $55 million extension... which was about $5 million less than the max of $60 million at the time.
Harden wanted the extra few million. OKC then immediately traded him to HOU where he got his max and was also designated the franchise player so he ended up signing for the extra year (5 years $80 million max)
J Michael:
@Rajat You make a plan and you see it through. You don't change it every 5 minutes because of a whim. I mention the Sacramento Kings for a reason. That's what a franchise looks like when they have no direction. .... The Wizards know already that Durant has them in their top 2 destinations if he leaves OKC. No one can say anything publicly b/c it would result in a massive fine for "tampering." So you plan to land him -- and you always have a plan b, c & d in case you don't -- but the fact is you have your core of Wall, Beal, Porter & Gortat under contract when he's a FA. And you have a massive amount of cash to throw at him. ... The Wizards planned on Ariza returning, he didn't. So Pierce was their Plan B. Not a bad Plan B at all. They got him, benefited greatly from him, didn't tie themselves up long term in the process. I'd say the plan they've instituted has worked so far. There's only detriment if you set a plan of this nature in place for KD and then start spending money carelessly to handicap yourself in what you're able to offer in 2016
McGee was making 12million per before the salary cap increase, that's how dumb the nuggets wereThis has been the craziest offseason I have ever witnessed. You some players receiving 2M per statistical output, and at the same time you have equally statistcal players receiving a fraction of that. I'm baffled at the Jim McIlvaine equivalent $$$.
If Javale McGee gets $10M per....

Durant is still rehabbing. He's hoping to be cleared in August
Keeping him away from SA would be the bigger benefit for them. Makes sense.
If I am any team with championship aspirations I am snatching up West just so the spurs can't have him...
He goes to the Spurs and they are going to have an unstoppable 4 headed monster frontcourt...
They can go twin tower with Duncan and LMA and kill you...
They can go small ball Diaw and West and kill you...
They can mix and match the two...
If I am Atlanta, OKC, GS, Cle, I am doing everything I can to get him cause if the Spurs do...your front court is toast...
Poor Deandre signed on with the Mavs and he might spend 4 games a year guarding these 4 dudes by himself cause Dirk sure as hell is not going to help him get it done defensively

Defensively though... West is older... Duncan is older...
Rim protection is only coming from one guy
They should bring that kid over they drafted for camp
Yeah... i still dont trust J Michael
Masai paid Nene $65 million over 5 years a few months before... then traded him after buyer's remorse, then signed Javale
I guess they thought at 24, he would improve
