A ring...that team may not make the playoffs 1 time the entire time LMA is there...

Long term the Spurs are going to have a guy who shoots around 40% from 3 every year while being a lockdown defender who can guard 3 spots...

And a player who has already won Finals MVP, DPOY, might be the best defender in all of basketball out right, and can effectively guard 4 positions...

And you would rather play with whatever phoenix roster is?

Between Knight and Bledsoe how on earth do they keep a much bigger guard like Harden from just running them over and flopping his way to 20 free throws a game?

What was the point of the Kings using lottery picks back to back years for McLemore and Stauskas?

So they wouldn't need to sienna free agent SG and these guys had potential but oh well one is already traded and the other may be a good look in a 6th man role.

So I am going over all of the free agency stuff that happened today (because I am secretly hoping LMA signed with the Spurs just that somehow nobody reported it yet......just like it still says Tiago Splitter traded to the hawks but doesn't mention who or what he was traded for) and I am starting to see David Lee name pop up (mostly David Lee back to New York)...and then it hits me that...

GS is out here winning like a mufukka...

From game 5 of the finals until right now these dudes are damn near light years ahead of everybody including my Spurs...

These dudes got over the hump to winning a championship by just putting a player in they already made the decision long ago was going to be the odd man out (Lee)...and realistically unless Monster Mov was going to drop 40 and 20 on them the series was effectively over because he is just to big and slow to chase lee and green around on the other end...unless he can just pound them inside is was always a wrap for cleveland...

Sign Draymond...so they are bringing back their entire core championship team...

And after Aldridge and Deadre sign...and with ROBIN fukkIING LOPEZ STARING DOWN THE BARREL OF A 13mil A YEAR CONTRACT...

David Lee is going to become a commodity cause his deal is only 1 year and he is still a decent scorer and rebounder and fukk, this the cheapest players going to be going forward somebody going to take him...

And next year I think the only piece GS needs to reup is Barnes...

So they can decide to pay Barnes and just trade David Lee for a pick...and after Vivek got Hinkiemized right in the no no spot who knows what kind of Pick they could get for Lee...

Or they can only deal Lee to teams who will give them a young wing back if they decide they don't want to pay barnes next year and get a player in his mold...

So a championship team...who got over the hump using a seldom used player...gets to bring their entire core back...AND dangle the seldom used player who got them the last few steps over the championship thresh hold...for a pick or a young player or both...
