I'd think Portland would rather just save money than take back McBob and Chalmers contracts. If I'm a heat fan I'd drive Hassan to Oregon if he's needed for a LMA sign & trade

As long as you go 3 years without being waived or changing teams via free agency you have bird rights

A player can sign three straight one year deals with the same team and he'd qualify
