he's a borderline nba player, i'm surprised he made it this far. spurs were perfect for him.

I don't think your really "need" love...

Not as good a defender as Tristan

If Tristan is as good as a rebounder going forward as he was this year...rebounding is a wash between the two of them...

All that leaves is shooting...could have gotten any old stretch 4 instead of paying max money for one...

Because that is all love is going to be in this offense with Bron and Kyrie dominating the ball and Timothy showing flashes of a real life post game...

Even if they don't resign Love, they are over the cap and can't sign anybody. Love is only 26, he could've gotten 5/140million if he waited for the new cap. A ton of teams will want to trade for him if he doesn't work out in CLE.

Cavs needed scoring down the stretch of the series vs. GS and someone who can spread the floor, not just a stretch 4. They need Love to win a title, people thinking they don't need Love aren't paying attention to how CLE plays

You mean how they played most of the playoffs without Kevin Love and made it to the finals ?

You mean how they could have been up 3 - 1 with a few more breaks going their way without Kevin Love?

You mean how if J.R. , Shump, and Delly can just make 4 more 3's between the 4 of them it's a 7 game series without Kevin Love?

Signing the best offensive center for 20mil is a bargain compared to these over inflated deals being handed out. Dude has been in the nba 7 seasons and has only had 2 injury plagued years. Lopez can play 20 total games this season and still would be more of an impact than the new 20milly man bum Tristan Thompson.

TT is only getting 16million a year and he never misses games. Without TT we don't make the finals last season when Love got injured.

You don't need a max player to put you ever the hump at that point

You can make an argument that a healthy Kyrie gets them over the hump at that point...
