the reason the assist count is so low is because Derozan doesnt play off screens and because Ross can't reliably shoot. Ross gets set up for catch and shoots often but misses a lot.

If it is one thing the raptors needed it was a 3 who could defend and shoot. James Johnson was good but not reliable enough from the perimeter.
Still, them trash nikkas need a traditional PF in the worst way

Lopez/Thad deals look excessive but the Nets had no choice since the Celtics own their pick this year

Aldridge to Spurs looks set, looking like a three team race between OKC, SAS and GSW in the West next year

For all the talk of the Warriors being stacked and having this unreal three point offense, it's really only carried by two guys. Steph/Klay are the only elite shooters on that team. A signing like Marco Belineli would be huge for them

Tobias Harris isn't all that and isn't a great fit for the Magic so I don't blame them for electing to not match any max offers he gets. Hear they have interest in Millsap who fits better there

If DJ leaves the Clippers they might miss the playoffs. Can't replace him, play in the west, either Blake/Paul maybe both are likely going to miss games with injury. He was their ironman, best defender on an average defense and best rebounder on a surpringly not great rebounding team
