Embiid didn't have a workout for the Sixers last year either. shyt could literally be for a number of reasons. Highly doubt Lakers don't take one of the bigs...too rare...so I don't think they promised him. Could be for any reason.


Edit: side note.... Pompey is a bit of fukkboy around these parts....not the most accurate reporter.

Embiid wasn't going to work out for the Sixers, he broke his foot which is why they were able to get him, he was going 1.

He and Okafor have the highest floors but there are a few dudes in this draft with higher ceilings.

Don't nobody wanna waste their time in Philadelphia tanking for the next decade. Russell either going 1 or 2 and I can't blame the Wolves or Lakers cuz this kid got something special about his game. He clearly has the highest ceiling in this draft. I think the Lakers promised him they would take him if he's still available at 2.

Haven't seen enough of Porzingis to know much about his game. I heard about Saric. I think they go with Mudiay but Draftexpress latest has him taking Porzingis.
