Does anyone think CJ McCollum could be a starter in this league after what he did in the playoffs or is he just a 1 who's really an undersized 2 who needs a bigger guard like Wesley Matthews or Iggy to defend around him?

The only thing that made sense for the Sixers I could think of was Heinke getting on the phone with Portland and try to trade one of these bigs Embiid/Okafor/Noel (once the situation plays out) for McCollum or Lillard (unlikely) now that Portland is basically rebuilding

Embiid basically gonna be shelved for a little while. To start the season it's gonna be Jahlil at center and Nerlens at the 4. When Joel does make his debut they're gonna ease him into the NBA very slowly. Probably in a 20-25 minutes off the bench type role.

If Joel begins to show that superstar potential, then it's gonna be Jahlil or Noel out the door

Hollis Thompson has been top 20 in the NBA in 3pt % for two years straight and started to emerge towards the end of last season. Pierre Jackson is a scoring machine who Philly drafted a few years ago who will just be making his NBA debut after coming off injury and Jordan McRae who we drafted last year is in the wings after coming from overseas. I don't expect people who don't follow our team to know this but we're not devoid of guard talent.

Man I was so excited to see what Pierre would do in the NBA last season, injury was unfortunate. Hopefully he can bounce back, he should have a strong chance of making the team

Rozier is practically a Bradley clone.

We have plenty of firsts if the worst of our first rounders (probably the 2016 Cleveland pick) can get him off the books cleanly I'd do it

Also Sam Hinkie just said at his press conference that he feels Tony Wroten has a lot of potential and is only 22 years old, he's obviously gonna get the keys this year. Was averaging close to 20ppg last year before he got hurt.

Wroten is a beast as he was top 3 in going to the foul line per possession. He just have to slow his game down to limit his turnovers.

Peirre might not be the same he torn his achilles and was cut before the season. Jordan McRae may be coming this year he destroyed the summer league last year. Hollis Thompson just has to work on his dribble and he will be fine.

Think Embiid is worse than they thought breh. Think he might be one of those people who just naturally can't stay healthy on some Oden shyt. That's probably why they shopped him at the deadline for another top 5 pick to see if they could come away with any combo of the 2 guards & 2 centers.
