You seen how good the Pistons looked with Tolliver at the 4? I think Porzingis is going to be a bust if one of these teams - Orlando, Utah, Minnie, Detroit doesn't take him.

Plug him in at the 4, and you have the room for Drummond and Jackson without having to worry about his anorexic frame being killed by 5s.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Darko left me scarred :mjcry:

Darko had talent man, Larry Brown just completely destroyed him.

I don't see him being a star, but he's getting a lot of praise as the best Euro prospect since Dirk so who knows. What he will do is give the Pistons space with his shooting, and he's tall enough that he can still be a rim protector with Drummond.

Any other team drafting him outside of those 4 is in for a rude awakening.

Porzingis :mjlol:

Pistons might take him :sadcam:
He is actually pretty good. I would take him for Atlanta. He has superstar potential but he's developmental. I watched him v. Walter's team. Porzingis talent and athletic ability always stood out. He's not like Dirk tho. To me, he's like a super tall ass Denlef Scheref with more athletic ability.

Uncertain grounds
:russ:

He wont, but I don't think the Jazz will be in the spot to get Kristaps.

The Magic are supposedly high on him and see him as a fit.

They gonna hire a coach first or what :lolbron:

He can only fit so well without knowing what actual system is gonna be run...so I think that is a bit premature..all jokes aside he probably would be a good fit there though with Vucci in the low post/elbow, Dipo slashing and Harris being all over the place. It'd be nice if Aaron Gordon proved something other than being athletic and having good hustle in order to get a better idea of what that core really is..

Maybe the Knicks take him as their "defensive minded big" and they have Bargs tutor him for a year :wow:

AR had low BBIQ, Kristaps don't.

AR was also every bit as skilled as a prospect if not more. Porzingis is in a way like Okafor in that their strengths are so good, when refined it's a skill no one else has. AR didn't want it enough, but the weaknesses Porzingis has put him at a major disadvantage if he wants to play PF in the league. That's what will make developing him so tough. He doesn't play like a 4. He would really have to be a litmus project for Flip and KG to see if they can make another KG

You do have a 5 in Dieng, and if you could get someone like Towns or Porzingis next to him some of his problems could clear up.

I'm really hoping yall don't take Cauley Stein :dead:

Dieng could get the fukk off this team and I wouldn't lose sleep given how he played last year. I would shop the hell outta him just because his perceived value may actually trump what his true value is and that doesn't happen often.

WCS is a pipe dream at this point. Securing a top 4 selection removed that. If they use their other picks, it will be to move up and get one more guy (hopefully that isn't Tyus Jones but that's the plan)

and before I get "you a hater" posts, I don't think Porzingis or Okafor will suck, but players like them aren't the easiest to build with and for my team, you need players that are damn near idiot-proof. Guys like them require parts this team historically has never been able to provide.

Justice Winslow is being compared to Harden...gtfo! His basic offensive skill set is not in the galaxy of Harden.

and If Miami gets Stanley Johnson they will have the steal of the draft...

Perfect scenario for Kelly Oubre Jr would be ATL (if he falls out of the lottery)

also, Pat Connaughton with a 44 in vert...OMG...Welcome to the NBA!

You already know who the Jazz want.......

Super Mario would swag that team out so hard, tho. Put him with Sexum at the point and prosper.

I was going to say, people seem frustrated with your response to 'what the wolves need' as if that's your take on 'whether these players can be good in the nba' -

Knick fans and I are running into the same problem... with people saying we should take Russell... and I'm saying we need, where we can find basic building blocks to use. Take Russell if you're willing to unload melo and tank again to get more talent. Because he'll absorb Russell like shang tsung.
