There really ain't a team in the top 10 (outside of Sacramento) that can afford to gamble on him.

Dude's got the highest bust potential in the lotto by far. Can't dribble really, shot is just a joke mechanically, one-handed finisher that was scared of contact in college, pretty boy hair :scust:

He shot a decent percentage from 3...he was a great defender last year. His problem is his handle and he's just not as athletic as he likes to say he is. He's more of a smooth athlete than a freak.

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
Robert Upshaw 7'0" in shoes, 7'5.5" wingspan and a 9'5" standing reach, he's projected to go around where you're drafting :mjpls:

It wouldn't surprise me if they take a big now because Delly is going to be on the roster for the foreseeable future. They'll still go after Mo I think in free agency.

They are probably going to go with someone who can contribute right away. Big men take a long time to develop. I don't know if they want to use a roster spot on that.

Problem is, if you can't shoot a 15 foot + spot up jumper you're never going to be on the court with LeBron James at this point in his career.

Unless of course you sign with Klutch Sports Management.

Should give him a look, he'll take a long time to develop offensively but he was the best shotblocker in College.

That's not entirely true about LeBron, since Tristan can't hit a jumper. You're going to need a backup 5 and big guys that go in that 20-26 range seem to pan out for some reason.

Oubre can barely dribble, yet you like him for some reason :yeshrug:

Winslow has the size of an SG, he should be an SG for whoever drafts him, McLemore can barely dribble and had a good year considering last season.
oubre has freakish wingspan he has a lot of potential defensively. many had winslow pegged as the undersize draymond green type player. right now he's a regular 2 at best.

They'd only take a big like Upshaw if they felt like they didn't want Mozgov long term after next summer.

He still can't shoot a lick and he can't make free throws.

Tristan sees the court because he actually has an elite skill (offensive rebounding) that is a huge factor in winning games.

When you're all in on a short window they are only looking for immediate help. (Probably why I'm so high on Delon because he would actually play next year).

Which is why it wouldn't shock me if they moved Joe Harris this summer in the right deal. Especially if they bring back Shump and JR.

You don't need a huge wingspan to be a good defender, Mr. First Team all defense Tony Allen has a 6'9" wingspan and is only 6'4.25" in shoes. Andre Iguodala has a 6'11" wingspan.......you're making it sound like Winslow has T-rex arms or something, a 6'10.25" wingspan for a 6'6" guy is perfectly fine.

At the College level Winslow was a better defender, on Team USA Winslow was a better defender than Oubre, and it stands to reason that he'll be a better defender in the NBA than Oubre.

I think you bring both wing guys back, which is why if you're going to draft anyone to play on the perimeter it should be a 3. Shumpert and JR are going to be on the Cavs moving forward, I don't expect JR to get anything more than what Nick Young got on the market, he's going to be valuable to the team he's already on and nobody is going to take the chance on him.

I'd go big over small, you can always trade for Iguodala, and having someone like Upshaw is a good insurance policy in case Mozgov leaves or when Anderson takes his usual 60 game vacation. It's better to be overstocked with big men than to need one and not have one.
