You already know draft is coming closer, and these Weezing smokescreens come from everywhere. Nobody knows what Philly is doing, they are one of the better teams keeping things under wraps when it comes to sources that come out, up there with the Lakers, where nobody really has any credible sources inside the organization, not even Woj.
I'm steady awaiting the following smoke screens:
Celtics are moving 16/28 for a top 10 pick.
Hornets are looking to trade down for an established player
Cameron Paynes draft stock is falling due to injury concerns
Sam Dekkers draft stock is rising after great workouts

The first two picks appear to be in stone (but Flip is STILL pro-Okafor so who knows).
If Philly wants to go full fukkery, look at the Anthony Bennett saga. Philly for the most part has not gone out of their way to be cute during the draft, so I'm still guessing Russell.
If anything, the Knicks and Porzingis is the real intrigue because Phil low key likes him too, but does he want every Knick fan to revolt on him?

Nuggets can get more than that for him imo
Honestly...I don't really think Phil gives a damn about the knicks fan base or the job...I could be wrong but they came to him with an out of the ordinary contract and power and he took it....He just doesn't seem as invested as he should be but i could be brutally wrong...But I also know if he doesn't do something major this season he may just be patient.

If Russell there at 3 I would probably just take him and call it a day though.
If Philly think Russell is the best player available and has more potential than Porz, they will take him. So far Hinkie has shown that he will take the BPA regardless of fit or a need. Last year everyone was saying that the Sixers loved Exum because of Brett Brown. But, they still took Joel even though they had Noel already and guard/shooting was a need for them. Porz would fit in nice in the triangle, but a Melo/Porz/Monroe frontcourt on defense though
If Knicks can't get Russell, and are afraid to take Porz, maybe they could see if they can do that Suns trade for Bledsoe instead of taking Mudiay and trade back to take Trey Lyles instead of reaching for him at 4. If you think Porz is Dirk, you take him ASAP in the draft. Most GM's are going to be shook and use the Darko/Bargnani excuse, but International players coming over to the NBA have been much better and good than bad in recent years. If Porz is a bust, you get fired as a GM, but if Porz turns into a star, than you made your mark as a GM for life practically.

The rumor about the celtics wanting to trade up been out there and it's gotta be true
we got 4 days next week for nothing but smokescreens what are some you see coming?
Anything that has the top 3 being anything but towns, okafor, and Russell is bullshyt

I think you're gonna see a lot of negative shyt leaked about mudiay too so he will slip to 6 or 7
Myles Turner could go as high as 5 and might even start to surpass wcs the way things are going right now

Don't Make Me Pull The Oud Out
I like Hezonja but people are overrating him a bit, the tools are there but I still have some concerns about him putting it all together. He doesn't have much of a handle and will struggle getting seperation in the league. Has a terrible FT rate, almost always settles for the jumper despite having elite athleticism ala Zach Lavine. His confidence is a plus but he seems like his mouth is gonna get him into trouble. Dude's comparision really is JR.
