@tremonthustler1 as far as Towns/Flip

I was just watching some old Pistons games and I remember in 06 they went 64-18, Billups really broke out. What people didn't talk about that much though is how much freedom flip gave to Sheed. He low-key had one of the best seasons of his career and flip really let him shoot 3s and ran sets, using rasheed as a designated outside shooter in order to free up space. I honestly believe rasheed was a top 10 player in the league that year (more on that in another thread that I'm working on). But ya point is, maybe compared to the Warriors, Flip is old school but he isn't THAT old school and the stuff they ran in 06, Towns would fit in great

Flip is comfortable with that because that's the stuff he used to run for KG.

Exactly.. maaan I want y'all to get towns so bad. I think he is gonna be great with y'all
while I agree Flip would help Towns, Flip shouldn't have any business coaching much longer, especially if he has all these front office duties.

I'd rather Towns get his mentoring from KG and (especially) Pek

Why especially pek
If Pek can't be the center he was, he can at least teach Towns what he knows about the post which would really further Towns' game. You got a guy in KG sho could school him on the spin cycle, baseline jumpers, being around the glass, and then Pek in the post. Besides, that's all Pek can really offer the team.
