They're being overrated based on how good they look against garbage teams. Something I like to call "the Texas A&M effect"
thats what i thought too. didnt know they brought back almost all their starters tho. same ones who beat us last season..

everyone said last year all they needed was a qb. well looks like they might have one. we'll see saturday

Yea they bring back a lot of starters, they lost Golsthon but I think they got a good juco transfer to play secondary. I'm not sold on their QB yet tho. Every QB looks good against bad teams (except for a bum like Jeremy Johnson :sas2:)

Ole Miss can not afford to lose against anyone because they losing to Mississippi St this year. It's been competitive the last 3 years with Ole Miss winning the last game. Miss st is 4-2 against them the last 6 years and, it'll be Prescott's last regular season game so he gon ball out.

Get arrested for stealing bikes now at Purdue :snoop:

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) -- Police say they have arrested Purdue freshmen cornerbacks Evyn Cooper and David Rose for trying to stealing bicycles.

WLFI-TV and the Journal & Courier report Purdue police arrested Cooper for theft and Rose for attempted theft about 1 a.m. Wednesday on campus. The two players, both 18, were booked into Tippecanoe County Jail and released on bond.

Police Chief John Cox said Thursday he could not release any more details because it was an ongoing investigation.

It wasn't clear if either player has an attorney who might comment.

Purdue athletics spokesman Matt Rector said coach Darrell Hazell was aware of the arrests.

Rose, who is from Temple Hills, Maryland, has appeared in one of Purdue's two games. Cooper, from Buford, Georgia, hasn't played.

The Boilermakers host Virginia Tech on Saturday.
