Who picked the vols this year? Braxton got hurt and the Buckeyes decided leap frog freshman qb JT Barrett over Cardale Jones a week before the season started. Barrett hadn't played in two years at that point. When did Tennessee lose their 2x conference player of the year right before the season started

Tennessee and last year's Ohio State is absolutely nothing alike. Just see how in next year's draft we could easily have 6 players drafted in the first round. And like you said, OSU was fresh off of going undefeated in the regular season for 2 straight seasons. Many people saw OSU as title contenders coming into last year. Braxton getting hurt and the Va Tech game changed that talk for a minute, but people still knew we had playoff caliber talent. Not only that, but people knew that Urban knows how to put together and coach a championship team, something nobody knows about Tennessee's coach. I have a feeling that we will bounce back against Florida and Arkansas. Our real test comes when the Dawgs come to town. bUTch has to show more confidence in the playcalling for Dobbs. The playcalling was way too predictable Saturday especially with the majority of the carries going to Hurd. I swore up and down we were going to win on Saturday. Hell at halftime I walked around the stadium with my vape and drink in my hand on cloud 9 only to witness some of the sorriest conservative play calling that has plagued our school for quite some time.
I still have the confidence that we can make it to a major bowl but they have to shake things up a bit on the pass playcalling.
