You can lose players, ESPECIALLY todays gen, when you do that in front of their teammates and on sidelines
All that yelling/military-esque appoach to coaching isn't as effective anymore

don't forget Ohio St. O-coord from last year is the coach there. He's fresh off a national title and took over that program.
If he uses that momentum, they can win some games down there and recruit some good talent from that area. They have a new stadium and probably new facilities, etc. and UH has a good alumni base with lots of money.
