Oregon will be highly ranked, put up absurd numbers, flameout in typical epic fashion

If them nikkaz use their brains and get bigger up front in the trenches, they'll be fine. That part of their program needs a wake up call. The offense is cool and all and their D is opportunistic, but shyt always starts in the trenches. You win that and you'll win the game damn near everytime.

Even if they do that, they need depth. That defense won't be able to sustain for a season with the pace that offense loves to operate at. They got the greatest recruiting tool to work with yet they seem unaware or refuse to use it: playing time. With the way they blow squads out, backups would get serious PT. Like they could reach the 3rd team defense with the way they put up points

They d line is actually big, especially those 2 D ends. We wore them out like their offense usually does opposing D's, their LB played a shytty game . Ill say they need to continue to get bigger and build dept in the trenches like u said.

Clemson gains commitment from 4star DB Mark Fields. Homie runs a 4.34

Dabo and staff running with the big dogs this cycle

And to the fact that Ol boy Christian Wilkins surprised committed & it's shaping up nicely

Talent has never been an issue with yall though.

and is the SEC gonna bounce back??

The cysing of the league is gonna drop now and the arguments of beating up on each other aren't gonna fly much anymore no matter how much ESPN cyses it.

Bama has a new QB and Coop is gone.
Auburn is a dark horse
If LSU can get their offense together
The Clarke County Correctional Institute at Athens will choke as usual
Florida is probably a year away, but still :patrice:
Mizzou might win the league next year....dead serious.

How is OSU #2? :mjlol:

Anyway I'm out of my element here but couldn't 3 programs plug in Based Braxton and run the table next year if he decides to transfer? Say an LSU or Oregon?

That's something Clemson began to figure out after Kevin Steele and Chad Morris clashed over tempo. Brent Venables has used this year to build depth. It was a lot of times on key downs players like Beasley, Jarrett, Lawson and Anthony weren't in. A lot of the season you would see the 2nd team sub in for a series to keep the starters fresh. They said the UGA game was the exception...which it was. That's why i'm not too worried about the defense taking that big of a step back next year. The talent is there and a lot of them have played meaningful minutes...so if the offense clicks you may see a set up season for Clemson to be in playoff contention in 2016.

Talent has never been an issue with yall though.

It has at key positions though. Tommy Bowden was notorious for playing sorry seniors over talented underclassmen. The result was underachieving with the talent we had while stunting the younger players development. If Dabo hasn't done anything else right he's realized the value putting the ball in the playmakers hands [Spiller, Ellington, Watkins, Hopkins, Scott] as much as possible. And he realized his strengths and weaknesses as a coach and made great hires. Think about it...he fired his best friend [Billy Napier]...who does that...lol.

Keep in mind that Vic Beasley is a beast but he was only a 2-3 star...and was a TE. Grady Jarrett was another 2-3star and Clemson and Miss St were his only major offers. I can go down the list but this class is different because it's not much filler. Usually Clemson recruiting avg is about 14th...not top 5.

I like Scarlett better than Frasier. I hope he comes to the good guys. :lawd:

I was just watching some 1 vs 1 drills and Scarlett is a beast....

Wilkins was a good pick up. Wanted him as a Buckeye

I still don't know what Dabo said to him to steal him from Pedo State and y'all. I thought Clemson was the longshot out of the 3 schools.

none of these will have any impact in the end of the season, osu proved that. MAYBE bama wisconsin or tcu/minnesota if TCu chokes but thats it.

does Arizona State bring back talent this year?
