The thing is, those schools that we play on neutral sites AGREE to those neutral site games. I love the idea of home & home, that's one thing I wish we'd do more.

i will say though i think the neutral site games are losing their luster a bit. at least at jerruh world. it was a bad look only like half the tickets got sold before the bama-wisky game. no wisky fans wanted to go and a lot of bama fans are waiting until usc next season

I mean as a 1 off game it makes sense and it's easier to setup than home & homes.

Just like seeing teams going into hostile environments they usually don't like when Georgia went into Clemson, Texas/USC at Ohio St, or when teams go to Boise

Say what you want about Ohio State, but nobody outside of Bama and OU, has had tougher earlier season marque OOC games than Ohio State.

What about the rest of the season? The tough part about college football isn't winning 1 big game, it's getting 20 y/o dudes to ball out every saturday.
That's how VA tech caught OSU last year.
That's how Boston College caught USC sleeping last year.
That's why fukkery usually happens on Thursday nights

"look at me, look at me I'm playing a big game" twice a season and then scrimmaging the rest of the year is how some teams operate (Don't make me name names).
