They'res such a lack of qb talent out there in college and pros that if your qb is out your seasons lost just the way it is

The few schools that do have a decent backup these days that player usually transfers now instead of waiting his turn which is what makes osu's situation so unique
I think there's more talent than ever at the QB position. I just think there's a drastic underdevelopment at the position and it's always been like that in football. It's the only position in sports that I can think of where it's 1 guy at that position the whole game. So the starter is so important that the back ups don't get the time and developement like they should. Especially in college where you have a 4 star guy a year behind a 5 star guy who is starting for the 1st time in 2 years because he was behind a senior.
That's why I don't understand all these kids who play QB committing to the same programs. Yea it's a great program but how much PT are you going to get because you're sandwiched between other 4 star guys.
That's why I think more guys are going to start transferring to slightly smaller schools like we've seen start to trend.

I see you trying to be slick......you know Auburn keeps quarterbacks at this point. Old boy behind JJ has been here since last year and he knows the playbook just as well as JJ. He might even be a better passer, I don't know that for sure though.

Actually I wasn't :heh: Jeremy is a cool guy and I wouldn't wish anything bad on him. I was basically talking about top teams with good QBs with a unknown as the backup, who is y'all backup though? Tuberville?
