@Francium how hyped are you about Rosen and your guys team this year?

You guys looked real good yesterday. :ehh:
I think the Heisman hype is premature without seeing how well he plays on the road or when there is game plans schemes planned for him. But, I did watch practices and scrimmages in person and I knew our program would finally be a legit playoff contender by next year. Tom Bradley was the 2nd best DC hire behind muschamp and it showed in the first game.

Given how light our schedule is this year compared to last, I expect us to lose at the most 2 games and end up in the Pac 12 championship. Rosen is going to have some hiccups which I expect against Stanford on the road (I just can't get into the idea of beating them just yet) and I say Utah on the road.

Other than that, Rosen is amazing. He stays i. the pocket, can throw on the run when there's pressure and his accuracy is unreal. It's crazy to think we have 3 more years of him at the wheel. Once we actually nab the explosive playmaking recruits, then UCLA's offense is going to be rolling the next few years.

I'm nervous for this week also... OU'S offense started SLOW and they had A LOT of penalties. It took them too long to settle down. If OU does that at Neyland, then it will be a rout.

I'm a little optimistic about our defense. I think they did a little experimentation, especially with the DL. I expect Tenn to see our strongest lineup.

It will be an interesting game, to say the least. I just hope the OU from the second half of the Akron game shows up for the entire Tennessee game.

We had our shaky moments in the first half on pass defense as well. Matt Johnson (Bowling Green's QB) was throwing some impressive downfield passes with pressure in his face. Butch Jones commented before the game that he thought Matt Johnson was an NFL quarterback. After seeing him do work, I tend to agree. I'll be interested to see if Baker Mayfield has the accuracy on the downfield pass to make our defense pay.

Should be a good game. I think your team can survive a loss more easily than we can given your conference schedule. I think we will be lucky to survive the SEC schedule with 2 losses, so we can't afford to lose to ya'll if we want to have a chance to make the playoff.

In a few positions y'all prob better athletes, but I think we have better football players.

It's gonna come down to coaching & playcalling for us as usual. That and lack of penalties.

I'm little nervous for this one, but at least if we lose, we may still get two top 5 teams in Baylor/TCU. If we go 11-1 and beatthose they may have to put us in. But thats a long way away

I'll watch the entire Oklahoma game later today but I will say that unless your team is 2x better than they were when we played last september, ya'll won't stand a chance. Dobbs looks twice as good as he did at the end of last year. Hurd and Kamara have made our running game light years better. We added 2 true freshmen to our loaded receiving corp that through one game has me thinking they're the best athletes on the team (both are 6'4" and can run like gazelles).

From a purely physical standpoint our guys LOOK different. Last year we played so many true freshmen who didn't have the benefit of a year in the strength and conditioning program. Now they do. And boy do they look different. Team is more explosive. They're stronger. They really look totally different than the crew I watched destroy Iowa. Speed. Speed. And more speed. That is what teams are gonna get from us this year. For the first time in forever, we have elite athletes all over the field.

Also, you won't recognize Jalen Hurd on Saturday. Dude added over 20 lbs. to his playing weight from last year. He's 6'4" 242 lbs. now. If you saw the Bowling Green game, he was looking like a tight end running the rock. FREAKY ATHLETE.

1. I'm not as confident in an automatic win for OU as u are for Tenn
2. I'm also not confident we will lose either.
3. Watch the game if u want, but you will likely see a different playbook Sat nite.

I'm just thankful we have no injuries. I'll take whatever happens as long as we go in healthy and well prepared.

Whoever's better is better.

I don't think its an automatic win by any stretch. At best, I'm hoping the game goes like Texas A&M v. Arizona State. Competitive game that looks like it can go either way for 3 quarters and then hopefully we can pull away at the end. I don't think we run you guys off the field. IMO oklahoma is the most underrated team in the country right now. I'll be shocked if ya'll dont finish top 10.

Damn you Oregon fans aint got no love for the Maurice Morris/Onterrio Smith 1/2 at RB :upsetfavre:

Freeman is better than James,Barner,Black Mamba,Blount easily to me though.

J-Stew probably the best out of them all from as far back as I can remember Oregon RB's.
