this game was good for tennessee. we faced adversity and overcame it. i'd rather our young guys struggle in the first half and learn what it takes to win, than have an easy victory from the 1st quarter and face our first piece of adversity against oklahoma.

as long as our DBs can get healthy, we'll give oklahoma everything they can take. dobbs, hurd, and kamara look EXPLOSIVE.

They gonna get eaten alive in the SEC games if they dont pull it all together quick

and thats good when dealing with a young team. our freshmen and sophomores (who make up 64% of the squad) needed this punch in the mouth to know that winning at this level won't be easy.

i'm still 100% confident in my team. outside of our DBs, this was the most athletic and explosive I've EVER seen tennessee. fyi i've been following them since 2001.

I watched every game they played last year. outside of the DBs (which was composed of some 3rd stringers due to injuries), the team is better AT EVERY LEVEL.

Dobbs looked otherworldly.
Hurd looked like Eddie George with speed.
Kamara looked even better than Hurd.
The O-line is lightyears head of last season.

the defense looks like it took a step back. but I'll wait till we get healthy and play oklahoma before I start burying them.

This team might still be too young to win the SEC and make the playoffs, BUT they'll be much better than they were a season ago. 9-3 is the worst I see them going.
