I looked at the spring game again and Jesus, his release is slow as fukk, hasn't improved since last season.
True he was our top Qb we wanted, but we ended up getting a qb out of Texas who has the same skill set and 247 had rated higher

I'm not big on ratings. We see lower rated cats come thru and outplay 5 star dudes. I like watching tape on kids after we sign them. I really didn't pay attention to this guys recruitment till he committed. but man is his film impressive.
he reminds me of kaepernick to the tee. from his arm strength, to his throwing motion, to his running style. not to mention height. build as well as the way he looks. the resembelence is uncanny. i just hope he's half the player kaep is and we might have the next great college QB.
