@Rigby. How do you see Auburn-UL playing out? I have to admit I'm tempted to pick Louisville :ehh:

But like a typical non FSU acc team I think they'll choke in the end
Petrino an excellent coach and I predict Auburn might actually need a few games to become the machine they will be. Second half won't be close though, that UL running game booty cheeks and the receivers have got worse and worse over the years (the ones strong has recruited)

Should be something like 42-27

Miami has to rid themselves of Golden. It doesn't make any sense for them to accept this b/s. No ACC Championship game appearance this year, no job.

Bobby Petrino or Charlie Strong would have been the PERFECT fit

Now when Golden is axed, they will have to hire Turner Gill or Ralph Friegen :scusthov:

Even if they manage to get by us, they can't beat Stanford
If it's going to be any year, it's this one. Stanford lost a majority of its D and our lineman have only gotten bigger.

Not to mention our defense is under Tom Bradley now and he's increased the pass rush. Clark and Vanderdoes are both All-Pac 12 DLs that will match up with Stanford's OL. Stanford's offense will be a bit faster this year, but I think we got them.

I'm more worried about ASU and Cal. Those games are going to be a shoot out and Rosen is going to have to keep up with both of those QBs.

Still, I have UCLA as favorites to win the Pac 12 South. Kessler struggled against quality schools last year and most of his stats came from gimmes like Fresno State and Colorado. USC is about to be exposed with their schedule.

  • only Alabama and Ohio State have recruited better in the last 3 years
  • LSU played lots of true freshmen last season
  • they only got blown out once all year (@ Auburn). every other game was competitive one possession.
they fit the profile of a team that will explode. all that young talent is gonna be alot better this year.

I know you like to discount recruiting but it is the BEST indicator of team success. LSU's talent is as elite as it gets.
