So hyped for PSU this year. I don't have any dreams of championships after that atrocious offensive performance last year, but D should be top 5 nationally. If the offense is even good, which it should be with Hack and a ridiculous amount of weapons at the skill positions, we should win at least 9, maybe 10 games. Last year the offensive line was the worst in the FBS. Won't be this year

what you think of franklin so far? do you wish you still had BOB?

I love Franklin so far - I think he's a great recruiter, better than BOB. I wasn't thrilled with the offense he put out there last year obviously, but most coaches struggle in their first year in a program, especially under sanctions. Besides, the D was top notch and we were a few plays here and there from being a 9 win team, including over OSU (which went to double OT). So even though the record wasn't spectacular and the offense was trash, Franklin's ceiling is incredibly high with this team. Unstoppable recruiter

BOB was great with QBs, I wish we still had him in some capacity to work with Hack and this offense. But that's it. He was a good recruiter (got Hack here), but had to bring in a lot of plan B, plan C type kids because of the sanctions and we're still paying for that lack of depth. His defense in 2013 was god awful horrific, and sometimes his game planning was questionable. For example, we lost to Indiana because he chose to make his true freshman QB pass 55 times against the worst run D in the country. I also didn't like the cloud of "when is he gonna leave for the NFL?" constantly looming. All that being said though, he was great for getting the program through the dark years into the Franklin era, he kept a winning team on the field, the kids woulda ran through a wall for him, I think he truly cared about them. Overall, he was a positive presence and I'm grateful for everything he did, but I'm glad he is where he is so we have a guy with renewed energy and actual passion for this program who is gonna stay a while and build something great.

This ain't world breaking but it's still pretty big when you think about the talent difference between who used to schedule, trash D2 teams and who you now have to, trash D1 teams
You mean who schedules trash D2 teams in week 11?
