That's not completely true, they had the exact same offensive and defensive philosophy as the previous year and at most skill positions they were lining up the same people. Only real difference was another year in the system and development. I think teams knew what they were getting from the jump offensively and knew what they were getting defensively from the second and third game

Only reason teams are gonna do better against them is because that defense is losing a good bit of talent and of course Arkansas doesn't get people on the level of Philon's every year. If they can throw another successful season out the way, then maybe they can get an elite class out the way too

That's true, but that doesn't correlate with "sneaking up on opposing teams". If you had just put 9 in the box in practice against them under the auspices that Allen wouldn't eventually make you pay, that's stupid

I feel like that's something an Alabama or LSU actually did though. Have their worst scout team QBs in and not respect Brandon at all lol

hell I still remember playing ncaa 09 with terrell pryor. other than for the VY era in the mid-00s, ohio state was my go to team in ncaa cause i liked their scarlet jerseys.
